Welcome to The PC Oasis
The PC Oasis is actually two sites in one - at this time.
First, is our original site - The PC Oasis - for computer information, such as: PC Repair & Maintenance, Programming languages, Linux, Web Development and other links and articles.
Second, is our GenesisOne Web Design site, whose primary mission is tp overhaul a clients' current web site. You could consider that overhaul as a makeover or plastic surgery for web sites. Our aim is to bring their current site up to modern standards and download speeds, while improving the image that is presented to the public.
In fact, this update of The PC Oasis, is a project of GenesisOne Web Design. I realized some time ago, that TPCO was getting too unweildy and too dated to maintain. Even though we made use of CSS, it wasn't the best use of CSS.
With the help of a great CSS template - courtesy of Contented Designs, who provided the initial template - and the creative genius behind GenesisOne Web Design, we hope you'll be happy with the changes.
About this update
In updating TPCO, I wanted to make sure that we didn't break any links that many of you already have to our site. With that in mind, we've left the navigation menu and page names intact. So, if you have a page bookmarked, have no fear - it will still work, just as before this update.
There is one caveat to that though. Some menu names show their age (such as Win2000.) For these, we will be modifying the name. But the page name will remain the same (again, to protect those bookmarks.)
